She tells him about the illness of Hazrat-i Aqa and Sipahsalar's and Farmanfarma's visit. She also mentions that Hazrat-i Aqa has been given the position of Minister of Finance; although the decree was written by the Shah, it is not official yet. On the other hand, Qavam al-Dawlah, the current Minister, is the brother of the premier and the premier has threatened to resign; the situation remains unresolved.
